Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

Made baby shower giveaways last night. I wanted to use the new 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch but I don't have the right circle punch to go with it. So I went back to the original 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch and the 1 3/8" Circle Punch with the message "Oh Boy! Here comes baby ____." Still turned out cute as it embellished a plain old water bottle wrapped with 1 1/2" strips of leftover Urban Garden Designer Paper.

Also, we made goodie bags tied with one of Stampin' Up's ribbon. We stamped "Hello" and "Baby" from the Tiny Tags set, punched them and attached them to the ribbon tie with a bitty tiny safety pin. Ta-da...instant giveaways!

Wicked Treats!

I don't celebrate Halloween with all its goblins and ghosts galore, but I finally bought my first *halloween* stamps, Wicked Cool from Stampin' Up!  I couldn't resist the cute witch's boots.  So my stampin' friends and I got busy yesterday trying to figure out how to make Candy Wrapper boxes into Wicked Treats.  They're way cute but the folding was a little tricky.  I had to watch Barb Mullikin's video several times:

 Wicked Treats done!

Even this lil' girl wanted to join in...start 'em young!

And finally, a Wicked Cool card!

She's finally T H R E E!

She was born on September 14, 2007 at 4:32 pm at Southern Hills Hospital, all 4.8 pounds of her!  She was such a tiny, tiny baby the nurses called her a lil peanut.  She looks so different now and more beautiful everyday.  I love how sweet and smart she is, and many times a ball of non stop energy.  We love you Faith Ella!

Happy Birthday to a terrific three year old!

Another Big Giveaway from Rachelle Anne Miller

I'm a fan of her design.  She's a Canadian artist.  I actually have bought 3 of her prints ready to be framed and hung in Faith's bedroom...and she's giving away 3 more prints from her Etsy store, woo hoo!  Check out her website for more info:

summer stampin'

I'm back to my stampin' cave and it's been getting a lot of action. My summer vacation is almost over and it's been bliss waking up past 9 am. The day after my practicum ended, I went in the green room where I do my "fun" work and stamped away. Who cares about laundry and cleaning, I'd rather be stampin'!

I had a workshop last week, Aug. 11th where we made beautiful cards. I finally got to use the Urban Garden Designer Paper I bought maybe two years ago. We also made a black and white card using the Circle Circus stamp set.
Then a friend's niece is having a baby shower and since I'm on a roll stampin', I looked at her baby registry and was inspired by the Pop Monkey set from Babies R Us. 50 Pop Monkey cards were done by that weekend!
Pop Monkey inspired!

Lastly, I'm still working on my lil' girl's birthday invitation. Time flies and she's now almost 3 {sigh}. I ordered the CELEBRATIONS set, way too exciting with banners, party hats, designer paper and some cool new stamps! It took me awhile before figuring out what I really wanted to do. The colors red, blue, and green threw me off since they're not my preference but I was determined to use this set. Determination will pay off!

Being T H R E E will be one awesome adventure!

Skinned Knees

This blog had a giveaway for a Silly Photo Contest.

So I posted this one on her blog. Faith was about 3 months here. She wasn't quite sure how to get that soothie pacifier on her nose into her mouth.
